Un petit regret de ne pas avoir essayé le 7 plats quand on a vu les pâtes cuisinées dans la meule de parmesan et flambées. Les plats sont plein de goûts et parfaitement assaisonnés, Les saveurs sont travaillées à la perfection, le pré dessert et le dessert étaient vraiment extra, le personnel est très sympathique, le service est efficace, l'endroit est joli. So we were really surprised to get only 1 cocktail and a beer. After a 30-minute wait and served food we asked again and the waiter got us the drinks. But the wrong ones, unfortunately. And not all of them AGAIN.At this point I realized that I’ll never try the desert ( and of course, the waiter forgot about it) and we had no desire to stay in the place where a waiter can’t even write down your order properly.Final thoughts: the food was plain and boring, we didn’t get to try the desert because the waiter forgot 50% of our order.That’s a shame, because when your food is really mediocre and overpriced you should at least have good service :(Oh and the picture, that’s a cocktail with BLUEBERRIES, ladies and gentlemen

Unfortunately, this wasn’t matched by the food.The starter, bread covered with roasted vegetables, was very tasty.The mains, tortellini stuffed with cheese with a truffle sauce and spaghetti with a seafood sauce (mussels, salted fish and octopus) were bad.The tortellini was not well made and could have been shop bought. We didnt finish this dish.The spaghetti was in a tomato sauce with salted fish, mussels & octopus. There was no salted fish visible in the sauce and the mussels didnt appear to have been cleaned. The tomato sauce was very gritty. The body of the octopus was very tough. After a couple of mouthfuls, this dish was left.The waiters tried to avoid coming to our table when they saw we had left the food. They did not try to rectify the situation or offer any apology.Not a good experience.

The owners have changed recently and the new owner is more chaotic than the previous one. We made reservation for NY eve 2 months ahead via the restaurant website. since we only got emails in French (the new owner is not willing to send bilingual emails) we called the owner to confirm the reservation. SWI: Une sorte de madeleine de Proust. Un concept inchangé depuis des dizaines d'années. On prend plaisir à retrouver la carte simple et efficace avec ses menus gargantuesques. Il est triste de ce dire que cette institution Lilloise fermera ses portes d'ici fin mai... Merci en tout cas, pour les souvenirs partagés.
