A calming oasis in the busy city center, with calm lo-fi playing and smiley and friendly staff behind the check-in desk and bar for drinks. The attendant booked us in quickly, handed us our room key and added "You've got the best room", exactly what we want to hear.The executive suite was spacious, with good wifi, a large bathroom and drinks and snacks waiting for us. It was so silent after a day of stress that you could watch the busy city down below but hear only a pin drop.The shower in the morning was clean and powerful, exactly what you needed after a soft and quiet night's sleep in the spacious double bed. I can't give it a 5 star review however, because there are plenty of other hotel rooms I've stayed in that are much better.We woke up feeling like the staff had looked after us, and thanked them in the morning for their service.A really great hotel for a city transfer after the Eurostar.

Emily Dobry: This was a lovely location. It was once a convent that is now a hotel. Absolutely gorgeous architecture. The location is within walking distance of many wonderful sites in Lille, including the citadel. The staff was friendly and helpful. We went in late June, though, and the rooms did not have air conditioning, so it was very hot at night. Aside from the heat, was pleasant and comfortable, and the free breakfast was fantastic.
