May Melhem: I am a wheelchair user on holiday in Lille and I suddenly had a problem with a missing part in the footrest of my wheelchair which stopped it from working properly. I passed by Cyclable coincidentally and thought I would go inside and try to see if a member of staff can help with my issue somehow at least temporarily. As I am not French I thought it was going to be difficult to communicate my problem to the staff members in the store but Victor spoke great English and with a reassuring smile he instantly told me he can help. He went to get the part he needed and quickly came back and fixed my wheelchair which to my relief is working fine and now I don’t have to worry about it for the rest of my stay, and Victor refused to take money for his hard work! Thank you so much Victor for you help and kindness!
