A little regret not having tried the 7 courses when we saw the pasta cooked in the wheel of parmesan cheese and flambéed. The dishes are full of taste and perfectly seasoned, The flavors are worked to perfection, the pre-dessert and the dessert were really great, the staff is very friendly, the service is efficient, the place is pretty. Valentin Dedrie: Je suis allé mangé au Fleur le 3 juin 2023 au soir. C’était à l’occasion d’un anniversaire, nous étions 13 au total. L’endroit est plutôt sympa, rien à dire. J’ai commandé le trio de tartare en formule plat-dessert(sans boisson). Une formule à 29€, prix plutôt correct. Je mange mon premier tartare, tout va bien. Arrive le deuxième tartare, en mangeant ce dernier j’ai retrouvé un morceau de plastique assez grand et surtout assez pointu. Je ne veux pas imaginer si je l’avais avalé. Suite à ça, j’appelle directement le chef de salle (soixantaine d’années, grisonnant avec une moustache). Il vient à notre table, il récupère le morceau de plastique et part en cuisine. Pas un mot, pas une excuse. J’ai du l’interpeller pour demander des comptes, il m’a dit qu’on verrait à la fin du repas. Suite à cela, appétit coupé, je n’ai pas terminé mon assiette. Ce monsieur ne m’a meme pas proposé de remplacer mon assiette, car selon lui j’avais mangé les 3/4 du plat. À la fin du repas le chef de salle envoie un de ses employés à notre table. Il me dit « on vous fait 10% sur votre formule ». 10% sur une formule à 29€, c’est un peu se moquer du monde. Je suis donc allé voir directement ce monsieur. On avait une table de 13 personnes, commandé plusieurs bouteilles de vin, etc… Me proposer 10% (2,90€ sur le formule), c’était un peu la goute d’eau qui a fait déborder le vase. Au final j’ai eu -25% toujours sur ma formule, mais bon, en bataillant avec lui pendant 5min. Bref fuyez ce restaurant, ce n’était pas un comportement professionnel.

Specifically, I looked at the few negative reviews received and the responses from the manager of this account. I admired that the restaurant stands up for their food, as the reality is that the customer does not necessarily always have to be right.I had a 3-course meal, and simply put it was of high-quality, well presented and delicious. You can easily notice that they really care about their food here.The starter was light and flavorful, the Welsh was generous and outstanding, and it is impossible to forget about the dessert which was the recommendation of the chef. Fantastic.As for the service, I was treated very well, and the servers had no issue speaking English.If I ever get the chance to come back to Lille, there is no doubt that I will be returning to this place!

Unfortunately, this wasn’t matched by the food.The starter, bread covered with roasted vegetables, was very tasty.The mains, tortellini stuffed with cheese with a truffle sauce and spaghetti with a seafood sauce (mussels, salted fish and octopus) were bad.The tortellini was not well made and could have been shop bought. We didnt finish this dish.The spaghetti was in a tomato sauce with salted fish, mussels & octopus. There was no salted fish visible in the sauce and the mussels didnt appear to have been cleaned. The tomato sauce was very gritty. The body of the octopus was very tough. After a couple of mouthfuls, this dish was left.The waiters tried to avoid coming to our table when they saw we had left the food. They did not try to rectify the situation or offer any apology.Not a good experience.

Dani Moon: The food was really incredible, but the whole thing took far too long.We (as a party of 2) ordered the 7 course menu but all in all there are actually about 10 courses when you include aperitifs and pre dessert etc. We were there over 3 and a half hours, we were eating fast but there was often 30-40 minutes between courses making it feel very slow and long and not the standard I expected from a restaurant like this. By the time we finished the mains I was exhausted and tempted to skip the two dessert courses and just go home.The staff were friendly and very nice, explained all the menu and each course in English. Overall the kitchen just let down the experience on the timing of this as I didn’t expect to be the first into the restaurant and still there close to closing time.Overall, I probably would not go back or recommend this as an experience to friends and family despite the good food.

So we were really surprised to get only 1 cocktail and a beer. After a 30-minute wait and served food we asked again and the waiter got us the drinks. But the wrong ones, unfortunately. And not all of them AGAIN.At this point I realized that I’ll never try the desert ( and of course, the waiter forgot about it) and we had no desire to stay in the place where a waiter can’t even write down your order properly.Final thoughts: the food was plain and boring, we didn’t get to try the desert because the waiter forgot 50% of our order.That’s a shame, because when your food is really mediocre and overpriced you should at least have good service :(Oh and the picture, that’s a cocktail with BLUEBERRIES, ladies and gentlemen
